Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive starting rate of £19.18 per hour, with additional rates as per company policy.
• Fixed rate during induction and winter training period, with a stand-by rate starting at £66 per day.

Working Hours:

• Normal business hours between 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.
• Flexible working hours with 9 to 10-hour shifts depending on the season.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Overhead Transmission Linesman, you will:

• Identify and manage hazards while maintaining safe working practices.
• Conduct rigging tasks and pre-use checks of work/lifting equipment.
• Perform various tasks including blocking/clipping-in, spacering, earthing, jointing, and steelwork replacement.
• Interpret tower drawings and install downleads according to diagrams.
• Work effectively as part of a team while adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HV OHL Transmission Projects and steel lattice tower working at heights up to 75m.
• Experience in HV OHL Tension/Stringing and maintenance work on HV Transmission Lines.
• Formal qualifications in relevant fields are desirable.
• Additional skills such as Puller/Tensioner operation or Tractor winch operation are desirable.
• Valid UK car driving license/International driving permit is desirable.

Visa Requirements:

Applicants must meet Home Office requirements for the Skilled Worker Visa, including:

• UKVI IELTS/Proof of English language proficiency.
• Clear Tuberculosis test (for certain countries).
• Clean immigration history.
