University of New South Wales International Scholarships | Study In Australia – The University of South Wales offers a range of generous scholarships for self-funding international students.
You will be automatically considered for one of these awards when we receive your application. You do not need to make a separate application and confirmation of the scholarship will be included in your offer letter.
All scholarships are applied for every year of study at the University.
You will receive confirmation of any scholarship award with your offer letter. Applicants must pay the minimum deposit stipulated in the offer letter by the date stated on the Acceptance Form in order to secure their scholarship.
The scholarships do not apply to English language courses, DBA or placement years. Students sponsored by their government or by a company are not eligible for the scholarships.

UNSW offers a wide range of Scholarships and Awards to support International undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students commencing full-time study at UNSW. The scholarships offered include the International Scientia Coursework Scholarship and the Australia’s Global University Award.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
International Scientia Coursework Scholarship: Full tuition fee or $20,000 per annum paid directly towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of program.
Australia’s Global University Award: 10,000 for 1 year. Payment will be made towards tuition fees in the student’s second term of the first year of study.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, applicants must be an international student commencing full-time study in a UNSW Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework degree program (excluding PG online and UNSW Canberra) in Term 3, 2022.
For the International Scientia Coursework Scholarship, applicants will be assessed on the basis of academic merit, leadership skills (school, workplace or community), extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience) and reasons for undertaking studies at UNSW.

For the International Scientia Coursework Scholarship, students must have received an offer of admission into an eligible program for Term 3, 2022 by 31 July 2022. You must provide evidence supporting the selection criteria (above) in your online application. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Supporting Documents for a detailed list of examples.
For Australia’s Global University Award, eligible students who have received an offer of admission to UNSW in Term 3, 2022 will be automatically considered. You do not need to submit any specific scholarship application or additional supporting documentation to be considered.
