Job Description:
They are currently seeking several veterinary nurses to join their Greencross GP and AREN Specialist and Emergency hospitals across Australia. As a veterinary nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and treatments
- Cleaning and sterilizing examination tables and equipment
- Preparing instruments and assisting during operations
- Monitoring animals’ condition during recovery from surgery
- Administering medications to animals
- Maintaining stock control and records
- Providing animal care advice and education programs
- Performing diagnostic laboratory tests (may vary by location)
- Acting as a receptionist and undertaking clerical work (may vary by location)
